Cheapie Crostini

An easy recipe using leftover bread.

Got a few end scraps of that delicious sourdough but not enough to make a sandwich? A leftover hotdog bun? Make crostini by drying your bread.

To do this, simply slice your bread on the diagonal, drizzle liberally with oil and lay it onto a baking sheet in the oven with the light on for 24-48 hours until dried.

This crostini is excellent for dips and cheeses and will last in an airtight container for months.
