Apple Cider Spritz

A crisp, not-too-sweet cocktail for any time of the year

Spritz it up! Gin adds some quick personality to cider…with a twist. Local sparkling apple cider is readily available across Canada, particularly during the fall harvest. For this recipe, use one that is crisp and not too sweet.

Serves 4

Ingredients

4 oz Quebec or Canadian gin
350 mL sparkling apple cider (pink if possible!)
Ice
Splash soda to taste
4 slices of your favourite seasonal apple
4 cinnamon sticks

Method

In a cocktail shaker or pitcher, stir together gin, cider and some ice. Strain into 4 cocktail glasses. Add a splash of soda to each if desired, and garnish with an apple slice and cinnamon stick.

TIP: Your drinks can be served with or without ice. If serving with ice, strain into glasses filled with fresh ice.
