Scott and Shirley Holland took their creativity and love of nature, added a dash of sustainability and a touch of functionality, “borrowed” their daughter’s name and launched a family business that truly brings a smile to everyone’s face. (If only birds could smile!) “We are a small family-owned-and-operated business that sells beautiful handmade, 100% western red cedar bird houses,” Scott Holland says from his Essex County, ON, home. “All of our houses are created and built by me in my shop, and are designed to reflect various international architecture and culture.”
